David Williams, CPSI, President PPI
David received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Kent State University in 1973 and sparking a career in the Parks and Recreation field ever since. David's career started with GameTime sales in 1974 and started David Williams & Associates in 1988 and growing that business for over 25 years. After 40 years in playground equipment sales, David now focuses on Playground Safety Inspections and playground consulting. David has maintained his CPSI certification since 1995.
About PPI
David started PPI (Professional Playground Inspections) in 2007, when the State of Ohio created Jarrod's Law (now repealed) and many schools found a need for annual inspections. PPI is an Ohio company that inspects playgrounds to aid their owners in complying with relevant safety standards and guidelines. PPI provides experienced playground inspectors who are Certified Playground Safety Inspectors, by the National Parks & Recreation Association. PPI will provide you with a complete post-inspection safety report, including relevant safety standard information, written reports, photographic documentation, recommendations of how to resolve any safety violations, and a live presentation of the completed report to your organization, if desired. In Ohio, PPI will also consult with the Department of Health on your behalf, if necessary, in the case of Child Development Centers and Daycares.
